Horry County Land and Farms

Farms and land in Horry County are taking on even more significance to investors as high inland properties become more coveted as the coastal portion is attracting the largest population increase by those wanting to be close to the Atlantic Ocean. With the lowest property tax rate in South Carolina at just 37 cents per $100 evaluation, upland Horry County land is a great low-cost investment. Horry County School District is the third-largest in the state and provides K-12 public education. Coastal Carolina University and Horry Georgetown Technical College offer higher educational opportunities.
