Chris Howell

Chris was born and raised in southeast Virginia where he and his wife currently reside.  Chris found a passion for the outdoors at an early age when his grandfather would take him hunting and fishing throughout Virginia and North Carolina.  When searching for career options Chris knew that his love for the outdoors could not be ignored.  After earning a bachelor’s degree in forestry from Virginia Tech, Chris returned to southeast Virginia where after a few short years he established his own timber company.  Including his college years, Chris has been working in the forest products industry now for 22 years.  Along the way, Chris has been fortunate enough to acquire several properties of his own, each having unique characteristics that have given him invaluable experience in the world of real estate.  Enhancing rural properties to meet the needs of his clients has become one of his favorite hobbies.  When asked why he wanted to add realtor to his list of job titles Chris responded, “I am already helping so many people with their timber and they often ask if I can help them buy or sell land.  I want to say yes and by the way, I have the nation’s number one land agency behind me, Mossy Oak Properties.”
