Chris was born and raised in the small town of Stoneville, North Carolina. Chris and his wife Carly still call Stoneville their home today. They love small town living, where everyone knows everyone on a first name basis and plan to build their future there. Chris’s love for the outdoors was instilled in him at a young age by his father. From shooting his first gun at the age of 6 years old, to squirrel hunting and later pursuing deer hunting, Chris has always been an avid outdoorsman. Growing up next to his uncles’ farm he spent every chance he had outdoors riding ATVs, exploring the woods or hunting. Chris knows the joys and memories that an outdoor lifestyle brings. He now enjoys playing golf and archery shooting in his spare time. He is a bow hunter through and through, but his true passion is being a steward of the land and animals. As much as he enjoys hunting, he always does his best to keep the wildlife healthy and leave the land in better shape than it was. Chris takes great pride in introducing others to the outdoors such as his wife Carly and in years to come his son Branson. Last year Chris decided to combine his passion for land and the outdoors into a career of helping others turn their outdoor dreams into reality. Chris believes joining the Mossy Oak Properties family and getting to make a living outdoors is a dream come true. -We began an out of state search for an eventual retirement property. We didn’t know exactly what we were looking for, but knew the land had to be ready for hunting. We chose Chris Collins from Mossy Oak Properties. We knew the Mossy Oak brand has a long-standing relationship with hunting. Chris listened to our wants and needs. He knew our budget and guided us to where we could get the most for our money. He gratefully drove to the properties and gave us the reality of if it met our needs or not. He knew we wouldn’t be able to tour each property in person, and we relied on his opinion. When he found the perfect place, he called us and sent us pictures immediately. After a couple of exchanges and just a day, we put in an offer on a property sight unseen (in person). After a long four months of waiting (no fault of Chris’s) we finally settled on our perfect getaway. If it wasn’t for Chris’s knowledge of hunting, topography, and honesty we would still be looking.
